
About the role
Retail Media has been identified as a key enabler of profit growth across JLP and is a priority for the Partnership. We are at the start of an exciting transformation journey to evolve our capability in this space in order to help deliver more personalised experiences to delight our customers and create compelling and impactful Retail Media propositions for our Supplier partners.
As Marketing Activation Specialist within Retail Media within the beauty category, you will be responsible for the excellent delivery of the annual calendar of initiatives which have been agreed with strategic beauty brands. You will work on activating dedicated campaigns for clients, defining the channel brief for these brands and briefing into channels for activation. You will be supporting the coordination of the brand’s participation in brand and seasonal campaigns alongside the campaigns team.
You will monitor the performance of your retail media funded campaigns, managing the preparation of PCA reports to inform Retail Media Sales and Planning team conversations for the plans for the following year. You'll be highly organised, adept in working with insight, always with an eye on marketing channel effectiveness and driving outcomes for our suppliers.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of and a passion for marketing, making use of a variety of marketing best practices to meet objectives set. You'll have strong commercial acumen, natural ability with insight and data, strong communication skills to guide and influence others, and work well under pressure. Your ability to deliver compelling presentations will be used, and you will be a collaborative and proactive team member with a strong impact within the Retail Media Activation team and across the matrixed business and marketing teams to create campaigns which are bigger than the sum of the parts.

Expected salary - £35,000 - £47,000 (dependent on experience)

Contract type - This position is a Secondment/Fixed Term contract until end of January 2026

Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Retail Media team aims for around 1 day a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings.

Location - This role is based at our London Head Office campus in Pimlico. Please note, any cost incurred as a result of travel to the office is the responsibility of the successful candidate. There is no travel allowance for this role.

Key responsibilities

Support the delivery of the annual calendar of initiatives for strategic beauty brands

You will be working across a variety of campaigns, from new product launches, tactical activations, to seasonal moments

You will activate onsite, owned & paid channels and store placements, including windows & sites

You will monitor the performance of your supplier-funded campaigns and prepare PCA reports. Working with the Retail Redia Sales & Planning team to report performance back to suppliers and inform next year plans.

Build meaningful partnerships with key stakeholders; inspire, excite and motivate teams across the business.

Work to ensure the consistent implementation of activity across marketing. Escalate risks and take decisive action to quickly resolve decision blockages; challenge where necessary.
Essential skills/experience you’ll need

Significant experience in marketing campaign delivery

Relevant experience working with external suppliers or agencies

Proven experience of effectively servicing brands/clients in a marketing environment

Proven experience working across multiple projects and managing multiple Stakeholders

Evidence in strong written and verbal communication

Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Desirable skills/experience you may have
