The aim of Waitrose Convenience stores is to make life easier for our customers. So we’re bringing Waitrose products closer to them right across the country. And guess what? These stores are being really well received. This means our convenience growth programme continues at a rapid pace, creating plenty more opportunities for people who are looking for a slightly different direction in their retail career.
Our convenience stores offer a slightly faster-paced environment. Our in-store teams need to be even more agile and innovative than those in our supermarkets. Because while we’re selling the same fresh and quality products, it’s a far more responsive set-up where teams have to adapt to new situations quickly and they get greater insight to departments they might not have in our larger stores. Yet of course whilst the format is slightly different, you’ll still be expected to go the extra mile for our customers and take ownership of all that you do.

The typical roles we recruit for are Store Managers, Senior Team Managers, Team Managers and Supermarket Assistants.
Pay in range of £11.70 - £15.50 plus shift premium (20%). This is negotiable dependent on relevant skills and experience. The pay range for this role will increase to £12.20 - £15.90 plus shift premium (20%) from 1 April 2017.
