Online is big business for the John Lewis Partnership. We’re innovating. We’re growing. It’s therefore a key focus for us. And we need digital specialists who can ensure we keep ahead of the digital curve.
We’re at the forefront of developing new ways to allow our customers to shop, whether it’s ordering groceries online, browsing the latest fashion accessories on their tablet, or looking up the best travel insurance for their holiday on their phone. But eCommerce is also about how we communicate with our customers. Social media and our YouTube channels are revolutionising the way we talk, and sell, to our customers too.
And at the heart of all these developments are our eCommerce teams. They are packed full of visionaries who keep up-to-the-minute with the latest digital developments – always thinking how these can best support the Partnership with their broader objectives and exceed our customers’ expectations.
Roles include Administrators, Web Developers, Web Content Producers and Managers, Customer Service Assistants, Online Merchandisers, Trading Managers, Digital Marketing professionals as well as systems development teams.

More and more of us have ‘clicked’ with digital. So our business has changed. Now we’re omni-channel, which means that the internet, mobile app, call centres and home delivery are as much a part of John Lewis as our stores are. Ordering through our website or our ‘click & collect’ service, there is only one direction our online business is going and that’s up. Join our eCommerce team and you’ll be critical in joining all the dots of our business together.
Johnlewis.com is packed full of people who live and breathe all things online. If you join us, you could be behind the scenes making our retail revolution happen at every touch point of the online user experience.
From online marketing, on site product assortment management and content, user experience, delivery proposition and international expansion you’ll help define our vision and strategy across johnlewis.com, our mobile site and apps.
Waitrose is not just about our branches. We’re an omni-channel retailer and a big part of our growth has been down to waitrose.com. Our customers can book home deliveries or arrange to pick up in-store. On top of that we also have a range of direct services that includes Wine, Flowers, Gifts and Garden… with plans for more ranges afoot.
Our online offer doesn’t stop there. From Facebook and Twitter, to our app and YouTube channel… wherever our customers find us they deserve the same exacting standards at every click of the way. This is why we have some of the best digital specialists around to help. You could be one of them.
As part of our eCommerce team, you’ll help ensure our suite of online tools are meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers. Responsible for the development and trading of the websites, you’ll also be maintaining the brand integrity across a number of innovative digital initiatives.
