Supermarket Assistant

Waitrose stores are exciting, fast-paced and interesting places to work. Every single Partner in the team pulls together to make our stores places customers love to shop – whether you’re working on the check-out, keeping the displays fully stocked or sharing your appreciation for fine food on one of our service counters.

This calls for Supermarket Assistants who are as passionate about food as they are about high standards of customer service. You’ll be someone who treats both customers and Partners with real warmth and honesty. A genuine desire to be a co-owner of our business – someone who takes personal responsibility for driving us to greater success – is vital.

Your personal qualities matter more to us than your skills or qualifications, as we provide full training. What you will need to be, however, is a willing team player who is flexible enough to keep up with the pace of working in a busy supermarket.

Shift Patterns

We offer a range of shift patterns, from full-time to part-time – so there’s sure to be an opportunity here that fits around your lifestyle.
