As innovators in food retail, Waitrose is always sourcing new products and coming up with fresh serving ideas. That’s why we’ve created the role of Product Specialist in each of our stores - individuals who have a genuine passion for Meat, Fish, Cheese or Wine.
As a Product Specialist, your role is to train your colleagues in technical skills and product knowledge, as well as offering exceptional customer service. Customers will come to you for tips on cooking and for inspiration and ideas.
You’ll have the fun of setting up in-store tasting sessions, promoting what’s new and different as well as encouraging people to try new tastes and experiences. You could also get involved in outside events that Waitrose supports, from county shows and food fairs to schools' programmes.
With our in-depth training and your love for the finer things in life, you could soon become a true connoisseur in your area of expertise.
