Internal Audit and Risk Management provides assurance to the Board and Audit committee on the effectiveness of the systems of internal control and risk management.
Business Development manages the Partnership’s customer database operation. Analysts within the team use this information to support the delivery of marketing communications programmes and to provide the business with insight into customer behaviour.
Intelligence is an internal research resource. It looks at the strengths and weaknesses of the John Lewis and Waitrose offer against the competition, assessing services, price and merchandise. This independent team reports on departments throughout the business as if from the customer's point of view.
Business Information is a shared, company-wide resource facilitating access to externally published data and information on the markets and commercial context in which the business operates, as well as on companies we compete with or can learn from.
