- You will develop your business skills and knowledge in a range of technical and non technical areas as well constantly broadening your understanding of retail and seeing the impact that IT has on our operations
- Short placements in other parts of the business will help you to get a full picture of the role IT plays within the Partnership
- Our graduates join us as Trainee Programmers or Assistant Analysts who then progress along the programming or analysis route, in addition you can move into project management. Whatever you want to do, we’ll support you every step of the way
Things to bear in mind
- You’ll be based in central London or Bracknell.
- Our IT group is split into three major groups. John Lewis and Waitrose Systems develop and support computer systems used in John Lewis department stores and Waitrose food shops respectively. The third, Computer Services, develops and manages our shared technical infrastructure and provides common systems such as Personnel and Finance used across the whole Partnership.
- You don’t need an IT-related degree but should have or expect to graduate with a minimum 2:2 in any discipline.
